Mrs. Van Gaale's First Grade

I began my teaching career here on the Central Coast in 2011.  I have taught second grade, fourth grade, kindergarten, art, PE and am now thrilled to be teaching first grade this year!  I have a Bachelor's in Art & Design from the University of Michigan, a teaching credential and Master of Education from The University of La Verne.  I am a lover of the outdoors and you can usually find me on the trails around town either running, mountain biking, or hiking.  If I'm not outside, I'm doing what I love most, teaching!  I live with my husband, two dogs and two cats in Los Osos.  I am so thrilled to be your student's teacher, and I look forward to a productive and fun year ahead.
